Over the last quarter, the Centre has shifted to 100 percent virtual services, seminars and courses. The Centre has continued to offer businesses one-on-one consulting through phone, video conference and WhatsApp. COVID-19 forced the Centre to adapt and forge a pathway for Guyanese businesses to follow. The seminars on Offshore Oil and Gas, Procurement for Local Suppliers as well as the Computer Based Seminar have attracted over 300 people in the last quarter.

Most importantly, the Centre has expanded its offerings – including a “Join the Conversation” webinar from Dr Dean Foreman from the American Petroleum Institute. Dr. Foreman’s webinar explained the recent drop in global oil prices and what this means to Guyana’s reserves.
