The Centre has launched its first computer-based training (CBT) titled “Introduction to the Offshore Oil & Gas Industry.” Jointly produced with experts from ExxonMobil, this introductory course is intended to educate local businesses about the offshore industry.

Format

The CBT is open access and available online, where users are able to log in from any laptop or computer with internet access. The training is administered through six video sections that cover the phases of an offshore project, while the last section offers an overview of offshore projects in Guyana. Participants can take the CBT at their own pace, however the six video sections must be viewed sequentially until all sections have been completed.
