Who is it for
Designed for larger prime contractors, international non-operators and non-EPC contractors. The focus of this package it to help promote company name recognition and maximize access to the local business community enabling a social license to operate, cost effective operations and meeting Local Content regulations. This package provides members with the ability to guide the future programing and developmental impact in Guyana of the Centre via a seat on the Centre’s Advisory Committee.
Centre Hub Access
The Centre’s Hub is Guyana’s premier business directory. It includes a register of over 7,000 plus companies (2/3 of which are Guyanese) and provides information on company details, ownership details, managements systems, membership to associations, tax/legal registration, product and services, certifications, experience and referrals and additional documents.
- Posting of unlimited Tenders and Vacancies per annum to a dedicated business audience of over 7,000 (2/3rd of which are Guyanese).
- Tenders and Vacancies shared on Website and Social Media Platforms (Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn).
- Access to fully verified supplier information.
- Unlimited dedicated user accounts for Centre Hub access.
- Vendor support to incoming non-Guyanese companies that are part of Executive Package member’s global supply chain. This support includes assistance with setting up local offices through provision of a list of lawyers and accountants. If partnerships are required, the Centre will also provide up to 5 vetted industry list of local suppliers.
- Customer service support and troubleshooting including personal onboarding by the Centre team.
Local Contractor/Vendor Engagement
- The Local Content Act requires that Prime Contractors and EPC Contractors have at least two (2) engagement/feedback sessions per year with local vendors to foster better relationships with local contractors. To support this engagement, the Executive Package includes five (5) in-person or twelve (12) online supplier engagements (e.g. Vendor Days, RFI/EOI Clarification Meetings, Business Information Sessions), at the Centre’s facility or virtually and supported by the Centre’s staff. This support will include planning, registering, coordinating, hosting and aftercare for these engagements.
Advocacy
The Centre will provide advocacy support for Executive members (in areas decided by the Board) based on the overall needs of members’ sector and Guyana’s growing economy. As part of this, stakeholder engagements will be conducted with the following entities on an ongoing basis:
- Business Associations – PSC, GCCI, GMSA, Amcham, GOGEC
- Government – Including and not limited to Guyana Revenue Authority (GRA), National Insurance Schedule (NIS), Ministry of Labor (MoL), Department of Citizenship
- Diplomatic Community
- NGOs and Activist Groups
- Regional Democratic Council and Associations – The regions will be dependent on the key issue to address
Quarterly meetings will be held with members to update on advocacy engagements and progress. The advocacy component of this package aims to help the sector to continue to build a good relationship with key stakeholders and Guyanese population, and help the sector to resolve issues/challenges in-country.
Market Report
- The Centre is also known as the Centre for Market Intelligence. Driven by the data, the Centre manages, excellent on-going stakeholder relations, and identifying data gaps, the Centre will release one annual report to its membership. The aim of each curated market report is to provide a robust and comprehensive report that will ensure that members have access to up-to-date information on wages and salaries across 10 key industries in Guyana.

International Vendor Support
- Vendor Support to non-Guyanese companies that are part of Executive Member’s global supply chain. This support includes assistance with setting up local offices through provision of a complete list of firms registered on the Centre’s Hub for services initially required by companies including legal and accounting services. Please note that companies are required to conduct due diligence on these firms.
Advisory Committee Membership
Executive members will have:
- One (1) Advisory Committee Seat.
- The Advisory Committee will meet biannually.
Annual Report and Meeting
- Executive Members will have access to the Centre’s Annual Report which will be emailed in PDF format. The release of the Annual Report will also be presented at an annual general meeting where all package members are invited to be briefed by management and the board.

Communication Highlights
Onboarding
Members will benefit from a thorough one-hour onboarding process where the Centre team will go through the workings of the Centre Hub, package details, communications benefits, and customer support process.
Monthly Updates
Monthly email updates will be provided by the Centre and will include but not be limited to information on key events/activities in country, updates on the operators and operations in country, local content updates, key governmental updates, local supplier highlights, and more.
Centre Connect Sessions (In-person)
Four engagements will take place with key agencies including GRA, Ministry of Labour, etc. to give members an update and an open forum for discussion. These sessions will be moderated by the Centre and members can give input on agencies they would like to interact with.
Public Communications
In addition to brand recognition listed, members will also benefit from ongoing social media highlights of their companies. The Centre will collect monthly updates from members on companies highlights and amplify these through the Centre’s Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn channels. Members can also send company videos to be placed on the Centre’s YouTube and website video gallery pages. These will be placed under a special playlist created just for members.
